DECEMBER 19TH, 2022 MOLINE, IL – The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have signed wide receiver Jerron McGaw.
 

In 2018 at Adrian College, McGaw caught 55 passes for 1,079 yards and 12 touchdowns. During that span, he averaged 107.9 receiving yards per-game.

 

Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com: "Jerron is a quick athlete with fantastic spacial awareness and football instincts. Whether he's catching passes in traffic or creating separation on deep balls, he finds ways to make plays. I'm excited to see what he brings to camp."

 

McGaw will join a talented receiving corps that includes teammates Mike Carrigan, Jarrod Harrington, C.J. Windham, Isaiah Grice, Londell Lee, John Brunner, Damien King and John Williams.

"He is the type of player you get excited about. He can play any skill position on the field . His quickness and speed make him a tough target to get. We are excited to see what he can do." said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.
