About the Steamwheelers

The sQUAD is coming off a massive 37-27 home win over the Green Bay Blizzard. Ka'Ron Ashley led the way offensively with three touchdowns on four receptions, picking up 56 receiving yards in the process. Defensively, the Wheelers showed opposing offenses to protect their necks and the football as they hounded the Blizzard offense every chance they got to make stops. The Wheelers look to add to their momentum and make it back-to-back wins against the Pirates.

About the Pirates

The Pirates are coming off a 44-30 win over the Jacksonville Sharks. Massachusetts was led by their quarterback Alejandro Bennifield, who threw for 113 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Bennefield also picked up two rushing touchdowns on the night to help secure the win.

Players to Watch For

Offense

Jimmie Robinson - RB // MASS – Robinson showed his rushing ability and how dangerous of a player he can be against the Jacksonville Sharks. He totaled almost 160 rushing yards on 17 attempts, also bagging a rushing touchdown on the evening.

Ivory Scott - OL // QCS – The 6-foot-3, 340-pound offensive lineman is one of those guys you wouldn't want to see when you're alone in a dark alley. The massive Scott has been one of the best protectors for the Steamwheelers offense so far this season. Keep an eye out for him to flatten any opposing defenses who try to get past him.

Defense

Bubba Arslanian - LB // QCS – One of the newest members of the sQUAD, Arslanian made his presence known in his debut. The linebacker picked up 13 total tackles including 11 solo and 4 assisted, 1.5 tackles for loss, and he added a pass break up and a fumble recovery for good measure. Watch number 22 to see more defensive domination this next game.

Cyrus Fagan - DB // MASS – Fagan has been an impact player on the Mass defense. In his last outing, he picked up six total tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception to be the cherry on top and show his defensive abilities.
