Steamwheeler fans, welcome to our preview for the last regular season game of the year for your Quad City Steamwheelers! This Saturday, the sQUAD goes on the road again, this time they'll match up with the Jacksonville Sharks for the first time.
The battle between these two will take place on Saturday, July 20th, with kickoff scheduled for 7:05 pm CT and the broadcast will be on the official IFL YouTube channel.
About the Steamwheelers
The sQUAD is currently riding the high of back-to-back wins over the Sioux Falls Storm and the Tulsa Oilers, with their last win over Tulsa clinching the Steamwheelers a spot in the IFL Playoffs. The Wheelers will be looking to continue their winning ways and notch another victory over a new opponent in the Jacksonville Sharks. On top of that, they are looking to add on and carry their momentum into the playoffs to guarantee them success on their quest for an IFL National Championship.
About the Sharks
The Sharks are coming off a very close loss that was handed to them by the Green Bay Blizzard. Jacksonville went down 45-42 in a back and forth scoring matchup over the number one team in the Eastern Conference, knocking their record down to 4-11 overall.
This will be the first and only matchup between the two teams this season as they both look to notch a win over the other in this competitive bout.
