Craig received both his Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) and Master of Science (Community Health Education) Degrees from Western Illinois University in 1999 and 2011. He also obtained his Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) degree from Black Hawk College in 2016. Craig has been an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 1998, obtaining his athletic training certification (ATC) in 1999 and has served as a past BOC liaison for the Iowa Athletic Trainers’ Society. Craig has provided athletic training services for numerous Quad City Area organizations over the years including the former Marycrest University, Augustana College, and at Bettendorf High School for almost 14 years. He was named Iowa Athletic Trainers’ Society Secondary School Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2016. Craig returned to the Quad City Steamwheelers as the head athletic trainer in 2022. A position he held prior from the 2002-2009 football seasons. He was named the AF2 League’s “Athletic Trainer of the Year" in 2006. He also works as a PTA at Plaza Physical Therapy and a physician extender within the clinics of Orthopaedic Specialists, P.C. He has worked at these clinics since 2001.
 

Craig is originally from Aledo, IL and now resides in Bettendorf, IA with his wife Chelo and their two daughters, Sophia and Isabella. He loves spending time with his family that includes sons Javier and Alex, daughter in law Shelby, and granddaughter Viviana. In his spare time, he also enjoys hanging out with friends, exercising and watching sports.
