Dustin Eichten

Dustin first got his start in sports media in 2019 after buying a camera for a college class and asking the schools basketball team if he could photograph games. Simultaneously working as a production assistant at KX News during the 2020-21 school year, he applied to the IFL's Bismarck Bucks. There as a graphic design and social media intern, and under the direction of Heidi Ripplinger, was given the ability to create a top brand in the IFL. During his time at Bismarck, he met current Quad City Steamwheelers GM Destiny Brown who invited him to join her team for the 2022 season. At the conclusion of the 2021 IFL season, Dustin enrolled at Minnesota State University Moorhead and joined the GO! TEAM where he served a role as the Content Director and Football social lead from 2022 thru the summer of 2024. During the 2021-22 school year, Dustin worked with the USHL's Fargo Force as a social media intern. 

While with the Steamwheelers, Dustin has helped lead a team of interns and creative who have boosted impressions on the Steamwheelers social medias from 352,000 in 2023 to 10+ million in 2025.

Personal
Raised in Edgeley, ND, Dustin was the youngest of 4 siblings. Attended Edgeley High School and competed in Football, Basketball, and Choir. Part of 2016 Class A State Football champion team. Found love of graphic design and content management through the world of competitive Call of Duty. Competed at 2019 FBLA Nationals in San Antonio, TX in Graphic Design. Graduated Edgeley High School with a 3.2 GPA and enrolled at Bismarck State College as a Graphic Design and Communications Major. Currently living in Fargo, ND and enrolled at Minnesota State University Moorhead pursuing B.S. in University Studies, while involved with the GO! TEAM.
