Quad City Steamwheelers Re-Sign 2022 IFL All-Rookie OL Joe Krall

OCTOBER 16TH, 2022 MOLINE, IL – The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have re-signed offensive lineman Joe Krall.

Head Coach Cory Ross told SteamwheelersFootball.com "One of the most positive guys to get to know. He lights up the room with that energy. He has a switch that he can turn on and when he does watch out. For a coach you gotta love that!"

Last season, Krall earned IFL All-Rookie Honors as an integral part of the Steamwheelers offensive line. The team finished the 2022 season ranked 2nd in rushing yards-per-carry (4.8) and 3rd in rushing yards per-game (91.3).

"At 6'4", 325–Joe would be difficult to get past if he were average. He isn't. His combination of upper body strength and footwork allows him to move defensive linemen and create holes for our players to run through. E.J. Hilliard may be the best player in our league, but his job is made a lot easier by what Joe and the rest of the o-line are able to do up front." said Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael.

With this signing, the Wheelers have locked down another foundational piece of their offensive line, having also re-signed fellow All-IFL Rookie selection, center Hunter Nobbs.
